Eglė Fataraitė was born in Kaunas, Lithuania, in 1971.
She has graduated Kaunas University of Technology in 1995 receiving
Master diploma of Industrial Engineering.
In 2000 she has defended Ph.D. Thesis titled Investigation Behavior of
Disperse Filled Adhesive Compositions.
2000 Researcher at the Research Laboratory of Polymer Products, Kaunas
University of Technology;
Froms 2000 Senior Researcher at the Research Laboratory of Polymer
Products, Kaunas University of Technology;
From 2003 she is a Senior Researcher at the Institute of Physical
Electronics of Kaunas University of Technology;
From 2004 Associate Professor of Department of Clothing and Polymer
Products Technology, Kaunas University of Technology;
From 2007 she is Head at Research Laboratory of Polymer Products of
Kaunas University of Technology.
Member of the Lithuanian Materials Research Society.
From 2006 she is an expert of Lithuanian National Accreditation Bureau.
Field of scientific
studies:
Polymer composites, adhesive compositions, adhesion,
fillers, secondary polymers, rheology, stress and strain state, phase
interaction, mechanical and physical properties of thin films, micro and
nanostructures and its technologies.
